AppSaludable Quality Seal

What is the AppSaludable Quality Seal?

The AppSaludable Quality Seal is the first Spanish seal that recognises quality and safety of health apps. It is free and open to all public or private apps, both Spanish and from other countries.

Those apps that accomplish the ACSA validation process will award the AppSaludable Quality Seal. This seal will be in force while the app is active or until its content and functions change. (The responsible persons of the app will commit themselves to a revision of the process carried out by ACSA when the app suffers important changes).

This seal is based on the 31 recommendations published in the Guide of Recommendations on Design, Use and Assessment of Health Apps. These recommendations are arranged in 4 sections: Design and Appropriateness; Quality and Safety of Information; Provision of Services; and Confidentiality and Privacy.

When the process is accomplished, ACSA awards the AppSaludable Quality Seal along with the installing instructions.

Apps that have been awarded the AppSaludable Quality Seal will be part of a guide composed of apps with remarkable quality and safety.
